Greetings!
As I grow older (aren't we all!) I've learned to take more stock in those folks who do small everyday things to make someone's day easier. I try to do the same and instill this in our employees as well. I hope this comes across whether it's staying on the phone for an extra few minutes to be clear where a driver is broken down, helping to offload a few cases of product to get the truck on it's way sooner or just offering a friendly smile and a hot cup of fresh coffee to a driver who ends up back at our office. We'll keep working to make your day brighter and as always we appreciate your business. Happy Easter!

 Meet The Employee - Artie Robert
This month's highlighted employee is the lead mechanic here at Nick's Towing Service, Inc. He began his tenure in 2003 and has been a loyal employee since. Artie is extremely talented in his profession and hold many training certifications that he has continued with since he graduated from St. Lawrence College of Applied Arts and Technology in 1978. After leaving college with a degree in advance motor vehicle mechanics he went to Ontario, Canada and completed an apprenticeship at the Ministries of College & Universities. Additional training includes brake certification, forklift safety certification, completed training and is IMACA certified in the proper use of R-12 refrigerant and recycling equipment among others. Artie also holds a Class A CDL and is an experienced heavy duty wrecker operator. When asked about his work here at NTS Artie says "Working at Nick's Towing Service has been a new experience for me. My background was in diesel mechanics working on road tractors and the like. Tow trucks are specialty equipment and I've enjoyed learning the ins and outs of them. There is never a dull moment in the towing business!" Fellow employees note that he is a soft spoken, nice man who is always willing to help out a fellow employee.
Artie is a family man, married with 4 children. He can be seen on the softball field coaching his little girl's team. He also enjoys fishing and hunting. |

NY NJ Port Authority Training
We were pleased to donate the use of one of our tractors for a special tow truck training seminar this month. The Port Authoity of NY/NJ were training their men on hookup techniques and we were happy to lend a helping hand.
