Once again, we come to the Holiday Season, a deeply religious time that each of us observes, in his own way, by going to the mall of his choice.  ~Author Unknown

Tips To Prepare For Winter Driving

Snow Car

Tire Check:  The tread on your tires must be adequate for driving in the rain, ice and snow or you could end up in a ditch or worse. Check the tread depth as well as the tire pressure. Safety First!

Replace Your Windshield Wipers: Wipers are critical tools for safe driving in bad weather. Summer sun and such can be brutal on the rubber so change them before the winter weather hits and you really need them!

Check Your Lights: Sometimes you don't even realize that you have a bulb out. Be proactive and check your headlights, taillights and brake lights to see if you need to replace any. Not only is is unsafe to drive with a bulb out, you can get a ticket.

Just a few minutes could be enough to save you from a bad accident. Be safe out there!

Meet The Employee

John Ely
John Ely, General Manager

This month we have the pleasure of introducing you to one of Nick's longest term employees. John Ely began working at NTS in 1985. He left for a short time to work at Sea Box where he garnered some great training and knowledge in the shipping industry. John returned to NTS and has been here ever since. John is the General Manager and wears quite a few hats. He opens the office at 5:00 am never stops moving! He is always go, go, go whether it is working with our many long distance jobs, large corporate accounts, and customer relations. John takes great pride in his job and is a valued employee. Rest assured when something needs to get done John is ready and willing to make it happen. When asked John states that the most rewarding part of his job is "...knowing that each and every day I make a difference in a business that I treat as if it were my own. Nick has taught me a great deal over the years and I look forward to many future years with NTS as my home." Great job John!
