Malawi, Africa I love Easter, not necessarily for the church, because we celebrate our risen Savior every day, but for the chance for the World to hear about what Jesus did for all of mankind. Jesus gave us a heavenly mandate in Matthew 28 to "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations..." It is for that very reason that I will be leaving the United States and heading to Malawi, Africa on Tuesday, April 26th. Our first two partners, World Link Ministries (working in Cuba and Mexico) and Big Life Ministries (working in India, Pakistan and Nepal) are incredible to serve with. I am very excited about all that the Lord is doing through our partnerships with them and all that He is going to do in the future. After much prayer, we have a possible third partnership with a ministry out of Oklahoma City called Reaching Souls International. They have been in Africa for 26 years. Our initial meetings with their leadership team have proven to be divinely ordained. My trip to Malawi, is the final step in the process to determine what the Lord wants us to do in regard to this partnership. So, I am asking you to pray for several things as Brent Parsons, the Chief Operating Officer of Reaching Souls International, and I travel to Malawi: 1) Our families as we are out of the United States 2) For safety as we travel and minister in the country 3) For discernment as we determine the Lord's will about a possible partnership with RSI 4) That there will be many men, women, boys, and girls, that come to know the Christ of Easter as their Lord and Savior. After we return from Malawi, be looking for a trip report that will show pictures and tell the stories of all that the Lord did. My prayer for you this weekend will be for you to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, but most of all that you will be energized to share the love of Christ with everyone with whom you come in contact. As always, know how thankful I am for you, our Partners in the U.S., who give financially, pray faithfully, go enthusiastically, and tell the Doulos story regularly.
