From the Desk of the Director:

The first four months of our fiscal year have been incredible. Our revenue is up more than 82 percent compared to the first four months of last year. As you know this is a very difficult time economically and this would not have been possible if the Lord's hand had not been on us. As a result of God's blessings, we are now supporting 1,546 churches in Cuba, India, and Mexico. We could never have accomplished this without your sacrificial giving and for that I am grateful.

However, there is much work to do. One of our major revenue resources are our golf tournaments. Last year we did four tournaments that raised $115,000. This year we are doing seven tournaments and we need your help. The dates and locations are listed later in the newsletter and we need you to participate in the tournament nearest you. We also need you to leverage your influence in these other cities in helping us to put together teams. The money that we raise goes directly to the ground as we support our churches. Marion Spencer, who is very involved with our Nashville chapter, has helped us organize another fundraising idea. He has negotiated with H&R Block a referral program that will produce $25.00 to Doulos for each new client that we send them. If you were considering changing your tax service, please consider taking your business to H&R Block. There is more information about how to do that a little later in this newsletter.

One other thing, please be praying for me over the next several months. I will be in Cuba the later part of this month, India in March and Mexico in April.
