Hi  Happy Spring! for those of you this side of the Big Pond, and Happy Autumn or Fall for those of you on the other side.
My partner took the above picture of Jessica Watson when she arrived at Sydney Opera House after her incredible solo, unassisted, non-stop, circumnavigation of the world at 16 years of age. I thought it would be a great segue into my topic for this month. I am sure Jessica knows a few things about facing fears.

My Newsletter section this month is a bit longer than usual but I also think the topic warrants it. I hope you agree. I also have some news about Dollar A Day which has had a change of "clothes". Enjoy!

YOU'RE SCARED, I'M SCARED - WE'RE ALL SCARED!

Wow! That's really scary, admitting that may mean you (and me) too!  But really, what are we scared of? And is it real? Or something we have just made up in our heads to stop us from being the brilliant, shiny, beautiful, smart, sassy, intelligent women (and men) we are?

Isn't it so much easier to just do the same thing every day; to take care of everyone else and feel sorry for ourselves for not living our own dreams? Oh, you say, but for me it's different. People rely on me. I HAVE to  ..................(fill in the blanks)

Can you imagine for a moment how different our lives would be if we believed in our dreams and took actions to manifest them. How happy do you think that would make us AND if we were ecstatically happy, don't you think our family, friends and colleagues would be happier?

Is it possible that we may even be living a different lifestyle entirely? Maybe you work in an office but have always wanted to paint, or do something out of the ordinary but have been afraid to even voice this to others (sometimes even yourself) for fear of rejection or feeling silly. We were taught to "fit in" and not to "rock the boat".

What if that advice was wrong and you were put on this earth to actually not fit in so that others would see you as a mentor or guide. Did it ever occur to you that by not fulfilling your true destiny that others may suffer as a consequence? Scary, huh!

Would you be willing this month to do some deep thinking and ask yourself some tough questions around these ideas? Is your life at the moment all that you hoped for at whatever time of life this is for you - or do you believe that you are capable of so much more? (If it is, good for you!)

And, what are you willing to do about it? Or is this time for even more excuses? Too old, too fat, too "set in my ways"; I have commitments now, I really don't have the time etc.

I'd like to address those excuses right now. It is never too late and you are never too old, too fat, too set in your ways. Your commitments have been chosen by you and can be changed. We all have 24hrs in a day, in fact any excuse you have is probably a fear coming up in one form or another and that brings me back to the statement.

You're scared, I'm scared - We're ALL scared! And ask you, what will you do about that?

The article was going to finish here then I began to realize that for most of our lives we will be fearful of something so wouldn't it make great sense to accept that fact in the same way we accept ageing and notice it, accept it and get on with it.

It may not be how we choose to be at any given moment but it is inevitable.  I don't know about you but I for one don't want to live in fear so am choosing to allow it into my life as a sign that I am growing, acknowledge it when it visits, give it a "cup of tea" and then send it back to wherever it lives between visits. Even having a "knowing" about that gives me a great sense of freedom and choice. How about you?

Please share your thoughts. I will copy this onto my blog so that you can do just that.

There have been big changes at Dollar A Day Coaching. Sometimes even the best laid plans, etc..... So. there has been a change of name and a few other changes also.

The new name is BETTER YOUniversity which I love as it presents an idea around learning, growing and achieving more and it also gives a more professional showcase. The problem with Dollar A Day was one of confusion. The concept and of course in countries that don't use the dollar as their main currency made it difficult for those coaches to get their message across.

As well as all the fab benefits we offered at DAD there is also an opportunity for would -be coaches to be trained at Better Youniversity. The Faculty Head, Terri Zelenak is one of Americas top coaches/teachers/mentors and the course will be of the highest standard and will give the top certification available in the world currently.

The other great offer that may interest you, dear reader is that you can now join for only $5.95 per month. Or if you prefer you can listen to the 'My Life Monday' calls for free directly from your computer.

I hope you will excuse the glitches that we are currently experiencing. These things take time to perfect and I personally love the excitement and challenges that come with that.

You will also find that it is now easier to navigate and understand. Here is a link...
Please email me if you have any questions or suggestions for topics you would like me to cover in this Newsletter. I would love your feedback and participation. If you have used any of my tips or tricks and had a win, please share. We all love a good "win" story.

Have a brilliant September and remember, nothing works like Action,
