If you can get appointments & build a team who's effective at doing appointments, you'll win big...
Unfortunately, people with whom we want to share Advocare can sometimes be slippery, assumptive, & non commital. It's natural & we all deal with it. Given that reality, here are some tips to increase your efficiency (and minimize weird chasing & run around games)
Here are 3 keys to effective appointment setting and/or follow up:
1. Establish a "Definite Future":
- When exactly will you speak or meet again?
- Is there anything in their schedule that could prevent it from happening?
2. Be Specific about What They're to do by Your Next Conversation
- With the goal of them being more informed then than now, what are they to sample, read, view between now and when you speak next?
3. Be Specific About What Will Happen at the Next Conversation or Appt.
- What is the outcome when you meet or talk next?
- Sample: "We'll take about 30 minutes to show you what we're doing with Advocare & what's possible for you on a product &/or business level. If it's not for you, you can tell me no & I'll not take offense."
Avoid the run around.
Ask for commitments.
Be specific.
"Go for the NO" - offer them the opportunity to say "No" versus engaging in silly run around.
Once you get the appointment, LAY ON SOME THICK VISION & HAVE A BLAST!
