Message from Dr. Munson

Dear Patients and Friends,

A big welcome to Dr. Emily Kosinski!

Dr. Kosinski  is completing her final chiropractic preceptorship this Fall at Chiro-Health and will be graduating from Chiropractic College in November 2010.

Originally from New Berlin, WI, Dr. Kosinski received a Kinesiology degree from  UW-Eau Claire, and will be graduating from Northwestern Chiropractic College in the Twin Cities.  We are very excited to have her on our team to help care for the people of the Plymouth community.

Dr. Kosinski enjoys many outdoor activities including long distance running, camping in Northern Wisconsin and Minnesota, and spending time with her family, friends and her boyfriend, Jake.

Be Happy & Be Well,
Dr. Cindy Munson

Hats off to the little "shreds" participating in the Cheese Curd race.

Walking Team
Dust off those sneakers because Chiro-Health is inviting ALL of you to join our walking team!

Tuesdays at 4:00 pm, meet us outside in the parking lot and lets get truckin!

We offer two options, the first is a 2-4 miles walk and the other one a bit easier.  Everyone is welcome, make it a family event.  Enjoy nature and fun conversation!

If there is a different day or time that would work better for you we would love to have your input by emailing Rhonda at Rhonda@drcindymunson.com  or call her at 892-2207 with suggestions.

How much does your child's backpack weigh?
A child's backpack  weighing more than 15% of your child's bodyweight can damage their developing spine.   Routinely remove unnecessary items from their backpack to lighten their load, and remind them to wear it on both shoulders to prevent posture problems.

Check the backpack straps for proper shoulder placement, making sure that the bottom of the backpack is two inches above the waist and resting on the curve of the lower back.

To ensure proper fit of your child's backpack visit Dr. Munson .  She is trained to detect early signs of repetitive stress on their growing spines.  Like dentistry, early detection and correction is key to better health.
Patient Success Story
"Growing Strong Through the Generations"

We are very lucky to have such a great person nearby like Dr. Cindy Munson.  Dr. Cindy and her staff at Chiro-Health, Sharon and Rhonda, treat us all with special care.  Dr. Cindy helps to maintain not only our physical health, but also cares for us as a whole person.  With her help we can live each day with "ease" and without dis"ease"!

About three years ago, my husband, Don Albright, came to Dr. Cindy for back care.  Don's mom, Mary Albright, referred him to her.  As a regular patient herself, Mary said to Don, "I just love it at Chiro-Health, Don, you should go see Dr. Cindy, she is just a little bitty person, but works wonders!"

Now our whole family receives care.  Don, our three children, Jake (13), Josh (10), Abi (8), my mother-in-law, Mary, and myself, have all been helped by Dr. Cindy's chiropractic care.  We have learned within the past few years that our chiro care is the key to a happy, healthy life.

Your warm, (well sometimes cold hands!) and gentle chiropractic care will always be a part of our lives.  Your great information and knowledge is something we will pass on to our family and friends for generations to come!

Thank you, Dr. Cindy, Rhonda and Sharon!

Recipe
Veggie Frittata

Olive oil for pan
8 eggs
½ cup milk
Beat eggs and milk together, then  pour into oiled, oven-proof skillet over medium heat.
Chopped kale, broccoli, asparagus, or spinach, depending on the season
Salt and pepper to taste
Feta or other cheese (optional)

Promptly add vegetables and stir evenly into egg mixture.  At this point you can also add feta or other cheeses.  Cook on low without stirring until eggs are mostly set, then transfer to oven and broil 2-4 minutes, until lightly golden on top.  Cool to set before serving.
Chiropractic is health care not disease care!
