2012 has arrived! We hope that you have enjoyed your Holiday's with family and friends and are looking forward to what the coming year will bring.
Here at our office we have moved into 2012 with the addition of two new team members. We welcome new dental assistants Amy and Tammy to the team and look forward to having our patients meet these great new additions.
Dr. Silvestri and Dr. Comfort have continued to educate themselves and stay up-to-date on the latest that dentistry has to offer. Dr. Silvestri is now offering complete dental implant services to all of our patients. This is a great restorative option for patients missing single or multiple teeth. Call our office for more information! Dr. Comfort now offers CEREC one-visit crowns to his patients. These crowns can be a great single visit alternative to conventional multi-visit crowns. Don't Stress Out Your Teeth
Very often patients present to our office with complaints of chronic tooth pain that they can't localize to a single offending tooth. Other times an individual may experience headaches or jaw pain when they wake up in the morning. These symptoms are all signs of tooth clenching or grinding. Very often people are completely unaware that they grind their teeth until symptoms present.
In some cases, grinding of your teeth can result in loss of teeth, fracture or teeth or need for root canals or other restorative treatment. There is no cure of teeth grinding and the only way to prevent damage to your teeth is to wear a night guard.
A nightguard is a custom-made acrylic mouth guard that is generally worn while sleeping. With the latest in technology, nightguards are much more discrete and comfortable. In our office we offer single-visit custom made nightguards for your upper or lower teeth.
