NES Foundation News & Notes

Greetings!

The Nickajack Foundation Board is excited to introduce the start of our Back the Jack Fundraising Campaign which officially kicked off on Tuesday, September 4! Letters were sent home in this week in the  Tuesday Back the Jack logored folders, but if you did not receive one (or it is buried in your child's backpack :), you can learn more below or by visiting http://nesfoundation.com/back-the-jack/.

Through the Back the Jack Campaign (great new name!), the NES Foundation hopes to raise over $60,000 to continue to fund curriculum-focused, educational enrichment programs not covered by the Cobb County budget. In the past two years, thanks to the support of Nickajack parents, staff and friends, we have been able to fund several beneficial educational programs and services (click the link above for more details on the good your donation can do!).

The official Back the Jack Campaign ends on October 5th. All contributions must be received by this date to be included in the classroom participation count (details on what the winning classroom and teacher will receive are coming soon) and to be acknowledged in the yearbook. BUT, you can donate at any time at: http://nesfoundation.com/back-the-jack/.

And don't forget to check and see if your company has a Corporate Matching program. Here is a list of companies...is yours on the list?
