| Laurie Grant joins Performing Arts Studio West as their new Director of Music Marketing and Licensing.
As co-founder and former CEO of LPJ Entertainment LLC, Laurie brings her significant expertise in music marketing, licensing and publishing to PASW where she will be working closely with her former partner and current PASW Music Director, Joe Seabe. Ms. Grant formerly managed negotiations, licensing, and tours for rising stars Khierstin Nichole, Christine Perone, the band Syryn, Americana artist Ron Schaffer, as well as numerous other independent artists including the Los Angeles-based, wildly popular Alternative Country Band, Merle Jagger, World-Pop artist, Shani, and E! Entertainment Star, Princess Ann Claire. Along with Joe Seabe, Ms. Grant has co-written and licensed works for a multitude of independent artists and for music placement in film and television. These include songs for Nina Repeta (Dawson's Creek), CBS's Cold Case and Ghost Whisperer, NBC's Law & Order and My Name is Earl, and for ABC's In Case of Emergency. Other projects include music for the trailer for the Reese Witherspoon film: Just Like Heaven, A & E's Biography: Abby Hoffman, A & E's Biography: Richard Branson, Canadian TV's The Eleventh Hour and music for the indie film The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry. |

PASW's first annual Awards Gala, A New Level of Success will pay tribute to the entertainment industry and those who have strongly advocated for actors with developmental disabilities, with an evening that will include cocktails, dinner and live entertainment. This years honorees are actor and advocate, Robert David Hall (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation); executive producer/writer, Brenda Hampton (The Secret Life of the American Teenager and 7th Heaven); and casting director, John Levey (ER, The West Wing, Third Watch, China Beach, and Life Goes On).

ATTENTION Music Supervisors!
Performing Arts Studio West has a growing library of original music in a variety of genres, written by music director, Joe Seabe and PASW clients, all produced in-house and available for licensing for film, television and commercial projects. Go the the PASW home page, and then click on Music Supervisors (lower right hand corner of home page) to listen to song samples. Click HERE to see a video from one of their songs: California, which features Anomaly, PASW's in-house band comprised of both staff and performers from PASW, led by Seabe. Anomaly has entertained audiences throughout Southern California since 2006.
