Dollar Days
Europe's economic woes are the US dollar's delight.  From a low of over $1.42 several weeks ago, the dollar has rebounded, currently hovering around $1.31.  Most rental rates are tied to the euro.  So a stronger dollar means lower rental rates.  And when you reserve your property, the rental rate is locked in with no future fluctuations
To take full advantage of the strong dollar, reserve your vacation home soon.

WinterBargainsWinter Bargains Abound

If you've checked airfares to France recently, you know that good deals are pretty much like the French franc - gone!  When you travel in prime season, you'll pay top dollar at all levels.  But if you're an inveterate bargain hunter, get out your passport and travel now - during the winter and early spring months. Most airlines offer considerably lower fares on flights departing from November through the end of March (with blackout periods over the year-end holidays).  Fares are often 30-40% lower than during the prime season, from April through October.  Many airlines (among them Air France and American) are currently promoting sales to European destinations for winter and spring travel booked in the next 7-10 days.

And you'll find those same discounts extending to other components of your trip.  Property rental rates are lowest from November through March. Many of our properties and Paris apartments are discounted below the low-season rate published on our web site.  Rail fares are often lower too.  Overall, you could almost take two trips in winter for the price of one in prime time.

Sound good?  Contact us to plan your off-season trip and home rental in France!
