This is a valuable learning tool for ALL of our students!  We encourage you to visit this site often.  The site has both slow and fast recordings of some of the most commonly taught songs at CIM.  Along with the recordings is the sheet music for the tune.  Thanks to Brian Miller and Shawn McBurnie for working hard to get this information available to our students!  To access this page, click here.

Congratulations to our own Norah Rendell!

Please join us in extending  congratulations to CIM executive director and instructor Norah Rendell.  Norah was awarded "Best Female Vocalist of 2012" by Bill Margeson's Live Ireland Awards out of Chicago.  WOW!

"She is a killer singer. We don't know how or when she got this good. Maybe it has always been so. The important thing is that this is a woman at the top of her game and she is set for a long run in this business."   --Live Ireland

Adding to those accolades is the fact that Norah's UK-based band, The Outside Track, was named "Best Instrumental/Vocal Group of 2012!"  Norah and bandmates Mairi Rankin, Ailie Robertson, Fiona Black, and  Cillian O'Dalaigh have recorded 2 CDs, and are hard at work on a 3rd.  Norah leaves for a new tour in the UK with her band at the end of January.

"(The CDs) have stamped them not only as yet another new force in the music, but among the top groups in the world. The Outside Track is traditional, creative, and brilliant on every cut."  --Live Ireland
