This is a valuable learning tool for ALL of our students! We encourage you to visit this site often. The site has both slow and fast recordings of some of the most commonly taught songs at CIM. Along with the recordings is the sheet music for the tune. Thanks to Brian Miller and Shawn McBurnie for working hard to get this information available to our students! Thank You for Supporting the Tradition

Heartfelt thanks to all who have donated to the 2010-11 Annual Fund. Each tax-deductible gift, large or small, provides critical support for the school and helps us to better serve our students!
For those who plan to donate in November, there are two ways to give. Donations can be made year-round via our online donation form on the CIM website. Or you can take part in a special fundraising effort, Give to the Max Day on Tuesday, November 16th, with a gift to CIM through our GiveMN.org fundraising page. Give to the Max Day is an annual 24-hour fundraising event, coordinated by GiveMN.org, in support of Minnesota's non-profit organizations. Last year, CIM raised nearly $1,000 for the Annual Fund in just one day! We are currently gathering donors for a matching gift fund and hope to have dollar-for-dollar matching for each donation that is made through our Give to the Max Day site on November 16th. Look for updates on the CIM site and on our Facebook page in the days leading up to the event. |
Get Up Your Irish: A Celebration in Music & Dance created by Norah Rendell & Natalie O'Shea March 11-20, 2011 Echoes of issues that immigrants face today are found in this story of the immigrant experience from 100 years ago. The music & dance of Ireland tell the story of Irish immigration to Minnesota. Featuring young musicians from the Center for Irish Music, dancers from O'Shea Irish Dance, and members of the Two Tap Trio. Get Up Your Irish is the story of a young boy's journey from Ireland to a new home in Saint Paul. Painted with the stereotype of the combative Irishman, this young hero finds the courage to face conflicts with his fists down, and to unite his community. Packed with toe-tapping dance numbers accompanied by fiddle, flute and guitar, this show will have your class singing for days! This is Stepping Stone's best selling show so far, so book your tickets now.
For more information and to buy tickets, visit Steppingstone Theatre's website. |
