You are cordially invited to be a part of the 4th Annual Young Irish Musicians Weekend taking place in Saint Paul, MN from June 18-20.  With world-class Irish musicians Martin Hayes, Kevin Crawford (Lunasa), Daithi Sproule (Altan) and Randal Bays, this is a weekend you won't want to miss.

Registration is open now.  Click here to reserve your spot today.

The Young Irish Musicians Weekend is unique across North America in its focus on teaching children and youth.  We also offer instrument-specific courses, tune-building workshops and lectures for adult Irish musicians.  This year, we have tried to make the courses as affordable and flexible as possible to accommodate local musicians.  Detailed information on our beginner, youth and adult programs can be found on our website.

In addition to the educational part of the weekend, this year's YIM will be like a festival; including a Friday night céilí and a Saturday night concert featuring our master musicians (and special guests).

To buy tickets for the concert or to register, click here.

The Irish Traditional Music Archives from Dublin will also be making an appearance with a special lecture by their Field Recordings Officer, Danny Diamond.  Danny will be bringing his fiddle along to teach workshops on "rare tunes from the archives".

Register online to reserve you or your child's spot at the Young Irish Musician's Weekend here.  For detailed information on all course offerings, prices etc, go to our website at http://www.centerforirishmusic.org/yim/about.shtml.

We look forward to seeing you there and having some mighty tunes,
