 Open Kitchen will be participating as a sponsor of the Virginia Wine Showcase  providing kitchen facilities for the following chefs to prepare their food for the event.

Kitchen Demonstration by Chef Kenneth Hughes

at the 2nd Annual Be Fit McLean 

 2 years running Open Kitchen has provided healthy food demonstrations at  Be Fit McLean Outdoor Adventure and Fitness Expo.  This year join Chef Ken has he demonstrates a healthy recipes using fresh ingredients while promoting the farm to table movement.

Thursday, March 10th

  Dining Out For Life supporting Food & Friends  

Open Kitchen will again participate in the Dining Out for Life as part of their "Cooking for a Cause" program to help support those less fortunate in the community.   A portion of each  lunch and dinner check will be given to Dining Out for Life to support their cause.

in collaboration with Slow Food DC 

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Here is a great opportunity to work with a skilled chef and to learn some tricks of the baking trade.

Chef Kenneth Hughes was a recent guest of Lindsey Gustin on Recipes from the Chef's Kitchen Channel 10, Fairfax VA.  During the 1/2 hour show on  January 17, 2011, Chef Ken demonstrated Scallops & Risotto with Grilled Vegetables and a Housemade dessert.
