New Season, New Chef, New Hours

Greetings!
A new season brings exciting changes to Open Kitchen. Due to the success of our cooking classes, corporate events and private parties, we will dedicate Mondays and Tuesdays to these activities and will no longer serve lunches during these days effective September 6th. Based on your feedback for additional dinner service, we will begin serving dinner on Wednesdays at the beginning of October. The exact date will be announced later this month.
Perhaps the biggest change is the addition of our newest team member, Ken Hughes, as Executive Chef for our Bistro. Trained in classic French and inspired by his time in California, Europe, and South America, Chef Ken brings a wealth of experience. A DC native, Chef Ken embarked on his culinary journey when the farm-to-table movement was evolving on the West Coast. He believes in Open Kitchen's concept of healthy, fresh food and looks forward to interacting with our customers. If you have not already met Chef Ken, please be sure to stop in and say hello!
