Ever since we hosted our Haiti benefit dinner at Open Kitchen, we've wanted to share with you our methods for making some of those popular dishes. Be transported to the islands for a night of seafood, tropical fruit and bright, bold flavors. Hands-on Class:  Summer in Saint-Tropez - Monday, August 23, 2010
Nestled along the French Riviera, St. Tropez is one of the liveliest towns along the coast during the summer. It is very famous for  its farmers market, an abundance of Provencal specialties and a cuisine that has gained recognition outside of this region as Mediterranean food is celebrated from chic restaurants to neighborhood bistros around the world. Chef Bernard worked in that area for a couple of years and he will  share (and teach you) his recipes from Saint-Tropez.

Have you heard about the health and environmental benefits of eating raw foods, and want to learn more?  This class that will teach you about the basics of the raw vegan diet, including the science & nutrition behind eating raw, as well as hands-on "uncooking" methods. You will learn about introducing raw foods into your diet in a way that compliments your lifestyle.
