Our kitchens have done some serious, fun, and exciting cooking in the past week!  Here are some highlights:

On July 13^th we organized and hosted an inspiring "Cooking for a Cause Team Building Event" for the Embassy Suites Hotels' Brand Performance Support Team as part for of their "Making a Difference" corporate initiative.  Embassy Suites team members gathered together, bonded and cooked up a healthy meal consisting of Mediterranean Couscous with Grilled Vegetables, Mac & Handmade Meatballs in House-Made Tomato Sauce, Roasted Chicken with Ginger and Miso, and Peach Fruit Crisp for over 30 residence of Alternative House in Falls Church (http://www.thealternativehouse.org/index.htm), that provides support to at-risk children, youth and families through counseling, shelter, crisis intervention and neighborhood outreach.
