Principals of Wine & Food Combinations - Tuesday, June 15, 2010

In this class, Wine Expert Andy Hoyle will guide you through the basic complexities of the wine palate and how certain factors can determine the style of wine and effect how foods taste.  Gain insights into food and wine harmony while comparing a handful of wine and food combinations.  Understand key wine factors such as acid, sugar and alcohol contents, tannins, and how they react to food.  Likewise, understand key food factors such as ingredients and cooking methods and how they work with wine.

(Please note that in addition to the foods that will be served for wine tasting purposes, we will also be serving a cheese and charcuterie plate at the end of the class.)
