The team at Open
Kitchen would like to say Happy Holidays to you and yours!
We would also like to thank you
for all the support you have shown us throughout our first few months of
business.
Even before we
opened our doors, Open Kitchen was capturing the attention of the local Falls
Church community, winning Best Restaurant at the Taste of Falls Church on
September 12.
Since Opening Day on
September 29th, we've grown and accomplished many things. October brought some exciting firsts:
our debut wine pairing dinner (the Fess Parker Wine Tasting Event), our first
Iron Chef competition, and our Bistro's Grand Opening celebration.
In November our Executive Chef, Bernard
Henry, was invited to the Falls Church Farmers Market Chef Program. We also
participated in the Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show at the
Washington Convention Center and hosted our second wine pairing dinner
(featuring Beaujolais Nouveau).
In December Open Kitchen participated in the
Falls Church Holiday Craft Show, celebrated the official Grand Opening of our
Chef's Timeshare Kitchens with honorary guests from the Virginia Department of
Agriculture and Commerce, and had
great success catering a number of holiday parties.
Please be on the
lookout for information regarding our expanded hours, new cooking classes, and
Winter Menu at the Bistro.
