Silver hat trick for Canadians on Sunday


Colette Bourgonje of Saskatoon captured Canada's first medal at the Winter Paralympics on Sunday. In the visually impaired category, Canadian Viviane Forest took silver. Canadian sit-skier Josh Dueck later won a silver medal.

Nicoll reaches pipe podium in Valmalenco

Mercedes Nicoll of Whistler, B.C., ended a podium drought of nearly five years Sunday, winning the bronze medal in halfpipe at a World Cup snowboard stop in Valmalenco, Italy.
