World Cup ski cross stars primed for Blue Mountain
The International Ski Federation World Cup tour is finally coming to Southern Ontario. The Rockstar Ski Cross Grand Prix at Blue Mountain Resort Jan. 19-20,
2010, part of the FIS freestyle World Cup, will showcase the world's
best ski cross racers - including Canadian World Cup and World
Championships medallists - just weeks before the 2010 Olympic Winter

Old man Anderson notches more PGS hardware
 Jasey-Jay Anderson of Mont-Tremblant, Que., won a snowboarding World
Cup parallel giant slalom race Wednesday and increased his lead in the
discipline standings. Former overall World Cup champion Nicolien Sauerbreij of the Netherlands beat Alexa Loo of Richmond, B.C., in the women's final. Anderson opened the 2010 PGS season with a fifth place at Telluride but
was able to come back and win back-to-back races to currently sit alone
in first place of the World Cup standings in alpine snowboarding.
