Janka dominates GS, but Roy, Frisch score
Swiss dynamo Carlo Janka won his third straight men's World Cup race at Beaver Creek Sunday, nabbing the giant slalom victory to increase his lead in the overall standings. Canadians Jean-Philippe Roy finished the day in 17th, and Jeffrey Frisch 21st, to score valuable World Cup points. "Both Jeffrey and Jean-Philippe skied really well and at their level for the second run," coach Paul Kristofic said. "The team is pretty happy with today's race, we had reasonable results. Manny had a really good first run and was close to qualifying for the second run."
