It's surprising how much there is to talk about in early November with the snowsports season not really underway. The first alpine slalom races are set for this weekend in Finland, with the big story this side of the pond being the comeback of Thomas Grandi, who recently made the decision to jump back into the fray, two weeks early. Is the heat turning up on Canada's alpine team after a lackluster performance in Soelden? Will Levi provide a release valve or increase the pressure? Read on to get our thoughts, opinions and analysis. I can guarantee you that this time next week, we'll have even more to talk about.

COMMENTARY: THE GRANDI BANDWAGON Publisher pipes in on Soelden, Grandi's comeback
Every once in a while, SRC takes flak for being too much of a cheerleader. Granted, we are fans of the sport - otherwise we would not have taken on this venture called SRC. But suggesting we should be calling the Canadian Alpine Ski Team to task after a poor showing in Soelden a couple weeks ago? Forget it..
