Greetings!
May is here! It is hard to believe our school year is at an end! What an amazing year it has been. So many wonderful memories! The children have grown so much this year, Mrs. Nikki and I are so proud to have been a part of your child's life. |

National Day of Prayer
 May is going to be another busy month. Thursday, May 3rd is National Day of Prayer. We will be in the Worship Center at 10:30 for a time of prayer and worship. After our time of worship, we will head out to the field and release balloons with ours prayers inside. We would love to have you join us for this special time. |
Water Day 
Water day is Thursday, May 17th. Please send your child to school in their swimsuit. We will begin our water fun after lunch. Be sure to send a towel, sun screen and dry change of clothes for your child. |
Field Trip! 
To celebrate our year together, we will have a field trip and party on Friday, May 18th. We are going to Build-a-Bear Workshop to build our own "Bert" or "Beezus" and then return to school for pizza and an ice cream sundae bar. I know how much the children enjoyed their time with Bert & Beezus, so I thought it would be a great memory of Kindergarten if they could make their own. Please keep this a secret; we want it to be a surprise!! The cost for the field trip and party will be $12. I will send home a permission slip with all the details soon |
Graduation! 
Finally, Thursday, May 24th at 1pm is our Graduation ceremony. We will be in the H building for the ceremony, then E-7 for a reception. This will be our final day together as a class, and we are both excited for their future, and a bit sad to see them go! It has been an amazing journey; thanks for letting us take it with you! |
