What do the above images have in common? They all include a "V" and they are all happening at The Warren !
On Sunday, February 7th at 6pm, The Warren will kick-off it's 7th Annual Superbowl Party and you are invited. We'll have tailgating food and plenty of beverages for you while you and yours watch Super Bowl XLIV on the big screens. Reservations are accepted but not required. Oh yeah, buying squares and betting is illegal, and we don't do anything illegal; so don't plan on picking your numbers and buying squares, because that's illegal, and we would never do that.
On Tuesday, February 9th at 8pm, The Warren is honored to host an Evening with Eve Ensler, author of The Vagina Monologues and founder of the V-Day, a global movement committed to stopping violence against women and girls. This organization makes a difference all over the world and the majority of their funds go directly to their programs rather than administration and bureaucracy.
If you have any interest in these issues, want to hear some great music, or just want to say vagina 5 times fast without anyone laughing at you, come to this event. (And if you're thinking this is an event for women only, yes guys, there will be a lot of women there, get it?) The evening will include lots of entertainment, and Eve will speak about V-Day's activities in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which is their current focus. Entry is $30 and will go directly to V-Day's efforts in the Congo. (I will send a flyer for the evening separately so as not to bog down the download.)

Milonga is a term for a place or an event where tango is danced. As in, "This Sunday afternoon from 3:30 - 7:30pm The Warren will host a Milonga."
People who frequently go to milongas are sometimes called milongueros. Only you can answer this question for yourself...
Seriously, if you want to come drink wine and dance, come on; you will feel so sophisticated. If you want to come drink and watch, come on, you will feel so impressed. If you want to learn a little first, come at 3:30 for instruction. We serve light snacks, since the kitchen is closed after brunch. Partaking in dancing and snacks is $8 at the door; partaking in drinking and watching is free. We hope to see you there.
