About George Roffman:
George Roffman was a Wash U student from 1999 until 2001 when a brain tumor caused his untimely death. Although George's life may have been short in years, he filled this time by touching many people with his cheerfulness, concern for others, and enthusiasm. George served as a student member on the St. Louis Hillel Board of Directors and was an active member in the Service Partnership of Hillel, the University, and the community. In the best Jewish tradition, George treated every day as a "Mitzvah Day."
