Be a part of St. Louis Hillel's exciting new collaboration with JDRC. Students will volunteer alongside the Hillels of Metro Detroit, NYU and George Washington University in a week of work with Habitat for Humanity assisting communities in Alabama who were affected by the tornadoes.

The Youth Department at Congregation B'nai Amoona is looking for Advisors! The USY program meets weekly on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-8:30 p.m. There is one Friday or Saturday evening program a month.  The group also travels within the Emtza Region for Kinnusim and Conventions. B'nai Amoona is looking for high energy people that love working with teenagers.  Social action and social justice are a top priority for the Youth Program.

Apply to the Civic Engagement Fund!
The Gephardt Institute's Civic Engagement Fund provides support for civic engagement and community service projects throughout the year.  Undergraduate, graduate and professional students are eligible to apply.  Funding amounts are variable based on the budget, duration and scope of the project.  Grants are available for both individuals and groups.  Additional funding is available through the Student United Way.

The Rabbinical School and The School of Jewish Music at Hebrew College invite you to join us for an exciting prospective student event Sunday, February 12 at 4pm through Monday, February 13.  Ta Sh'ma, which means "come and hear," welcomes aspiring rabbis and cantors to this retreat where you will get a taste of the vibrant, pluralistic learning experience at Hebrew College.

Anti-Defamation League's Campus Leaders Mission to Israel
August 6-16, 2012
This program provides student leaders with a firsthand perspective of Israel by meeting with the culturally diverse population, engaging with its vibrant society, learning about the strategic and social challenges facing Israel today and touring the historically and geographically significant land. Student participants will hear and learn from diverse political and religious perspectives: Palestinian and Israeli, left and right wing, Christian, Muslim and Jewish.

Qualified applicants must be college freshmen, sophormores or juniors who are leaders on their campuses through political involvement, student activism or editors of the campus newspaper.  Students who have previously visited Israel are not eligible.

Two $5000 Merit-based Scholarships Available!
The international MA in Jewish Studies at Tel Aviv University (in English) invites applicants for two merit-based scholarships of $5000 each to qualified international students for 2012-2013 academic year.  Scholarships will be awarded by an academic committee.

Cleveland Hillel Foundation - Summer Internship Program
Cleveland Hillel Foundation is coordinating a paid, summer internship program for college sophomores, juniors and seniors. Students are placed, based on skills and interests, at local businesses and
non-profits for internships in fields such as (but not limited to) real estate, marketing/PR/advertising, community relations and planning, environmental activism, business, accounting, finance, social work, biotech, arts and culture, radio and more.

2012 Kohn Summer Intern Program Applications are Available!
Jewish Vocational Service (JVS) in San Francisco offers The Kohn Program as an opportunity for students who are San Francisco Bay Area residents (even if they attend college elsewhere) to work at leading Jewish nonprofit agencies for 8 weeks over the summer, gain exposure to important issues in the Jewish community, gain tangible workplace skills, hear from Bay Area Jewish leadership and build community with their peers.  Interns are paid a $2500 stipend. The summer program runs from June 22nd - August 17, 2012.

Part-Time Work at The Crown Center for Senior Living
The Crown Center is looking for a student to interact with staff and residents in working to improve marketing efforts. The person should be interested in and enjoy working with a senior population.  A highly motivated, personable individual to obtain email addresses and help to implement their use for marketing purposes. This part-time job will be temporary, up to 10 hours per week.  The project should be completed by May 2012.  The pay is $9/hour.  All work will take place at Crown Center.

Volunteers Needed in the University City Area
Volunteers are needed to deliver hot kosher dinners in the University City area.  If you are interested in making a difference in the lives of older, Jewish adults, and available approximately 1-2 hours a week, we'd like to speak with you.  Individuals, families or organizations who may wish to "adopt a day" to deliver dinners are being sought.

Trek Leaders Wanted for Jewish Summer Camp
Adamah Adventures is an outdoor adventure summer camp for teems in the Atlanta and Southeast region.  Teens spend three weeks out on a trek-camping, mountain biking, river rafting, hiking and more. All of this is done within the context of a Jewish environment. Adamah Adventures is looking for staff who believe in the mission, have a passion for working with teens and love being outdoors!
