The St. Louis Hillel staff offices have temporarily relocated to the Academy Building on Washington University's campus. Our mailing address will remain 6300 Forsyth Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63105. 

 

If you are walking from Wash U's main campus, we are located just over the Forest Park Parkway/Milbrook Boulevard overpass. If you are driving, the Academy Building is located at 310 Melville Ave., St. Louis, MO 63130. 

 

Renovation project update:

St. Louis Hillel has sold a portion of our property (the addition) to Forsyth School.  We have retained ownership of 6300 Forsyth Blvd., which holds the original Hillel "House". 

 

Shabbat and High Holiday events will continue to be held in the Hillel building through Yom Kippur.  

 

On October 11, the Hillel building will close and demolition of the addition will take place over Winter Break. 

 

We are excited to use Washington University's space for our numerous programs and events during the course of our transition and renovation over the next few years.

Challah for Hunger Baking 

Thurs., Sept. 15 - 4:30-11pm at Hillel

Come all night, or just for a bit, and help bake delicious challah to sell on campus for a cause.  Proceeds go to the AJWS Sudan Relief and The Harvey Kornblum St. Louis Jewish Food Pantry.  Challah baking happens on Thursdays throughout the year.

and Palestinian-American comedians?  The solution for Middle East peace!

Join J Street U and Muslim Students Association (MSA) for an evening of laughter at StandUp for Peace, a FREE, comedy event designed to bring together people from all backgrounds to inspire peaceful dialogue.  Featuring performances by Mama's Pot Roast, K.A.R.L and STAAM.  Come at 7pm for refreshments.

The comedy show starts at 7:30pm at Ursa's Stageside.

The Saul Brodsky Jewish Community Library will present a screening of the film The Golden Age of 2nd Avenue, followed by a discussion led by Bob Cohn, editor-in-chief emeritus of the St. Louis Jewish Light. The documentary recounts the birth of Jewish American culture.

The program will be held at the Jewish Federation Kopolow Building, 12 Millstone Campus Drive. Movie snacks and drinks will be served.
