Holocaust Awareness Week
April 11-16, 2010
The persecution of the Jews in what is now called the Holocaust formally began 77 years ago in Germany, ending 13 years later. But antisemitism, intolerance, and hate have existed since long before 1933, and continue to exist today. From April 11 to 16, we will honor the memories and experiences of the victims of the Holocaust, as well as other victims of hate, by learning about genocide, intolerance, and courage.
