BBYO (the world's leading pluralistic Jewish teen movement) will be admitting 10 to 12 professionals this spring into its Professional Development Institute (PDI), a three-year program where, in addition to doing leadership development work with Jewish teens and gaining valuable volunteer management skills by working with chapter advisors, participants will receive an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and a Certificate in Informal Jewish Education from Hebrew College in Boston. During the three years of the program, the participant will receive a full-time competitive salary while working for BBYO, health/retirement benefits, a professional mentor, travel opportunities and an MBA from a top 25 business school at no cost to the professional. CAREER ISRAEL is a five-month professional internship program open to college/university graduates from all over the world. The program provides internship placements in leading companies and organizations in the private and public sectors in Israel. The program also includes accommodations in Tel Aviv, Haifa and Jerusalem, a Hebrew study program, tours and extracurricular enrichment activities. WASH U SOCIAL CHANGE GRANTS provide funding and support for students to pursue innovative social change ideas and community projects. The funding is intended to help individuals and groups defray project and/or cost-of-living expenses, enabling students to devote full attention to the development and implementation of their projects without the need to pursue paid work. Funding can be used at the recipient's discretion to cover costs of the project, cost-of-living expenses, and/or in lieu of earnings during the summer or academic year. The Community Service Office provides mentorship and support to prospective grant applicants in the development of their project proposals, and to grant recipients in the implementation and wrap-up of their projects. THE ISRAEL PROJECT is offering a high-powered fellowship opportunity for some of the world's best and brightest college and graduate school students; graduates in journalism, communications, marketing or public relations programs; and those beginning their careers in journalism or Israel advocacy. Internships are available in Washington, D.C., and Jerusalem. Seven outstanding applicants will be accepted to the Washington, D.C., program, which runs from June 21 to August 20, 2010. Five outstanding applicants will be accepted to the English-speaking Jerusalem program, which runs from June 13 to August 12, 2010. We are also offering three paid fellowships for outstanding applicants who are native speakers of French, German or Spanish and who also speak excellent English, to work in our Jerusalem office. CALLING ALL ARTISTS! The Museum of ImaJewnation, opening in Spring 2010 at the JCC, will feature the works of professional artists and art enthusiasts of all ages. For the "Listening for Haman Sounding Out the Grogger" exhibit, artists are challenged to design groggers and imagine the sounds they make in response to enemies. In time of war, what sound could ease an angry heart? Entry forms due Feb. 1. Artwork due Feb. 15. Details and entry information can be found on the JCC website.

JERUSALEM ONLINE UNIVERSITY is taking registrations for new sessions starting Jan. 25 and Feb. 15! Choose from one of three stipend courses: Judaism 101, Positive Psychology, and Israel Inside Out. Register online or contact rivkah@ujewashu.com with questions.

HERITAGE SCHOLARS is now accepting applications for the spring semester. Registration deadline is January 28. Accepted Heritage Scholars receive a voucher worth $250 cash or a $300 scholarship towards an approved Israel trip upon completion. Heritage Scholars is a popular Jewish leadership and learning program at Washington University. We are seeking intelligent and active students who aspire to become tomorrow's leaders and are eager to engage Judaism's response to life's most critical questions. CLEVELAND HILLEL FOUNDATION is sponsoring a paid summer internship program for college students who will be sophomores, juniors, and seniors in Fall 2010. Students are placed, based on skills and interests, at local businesses and non-profits for internships in various fields. Students have the opportunity to participate in social and educational programming with Hillel. Dates for the program are June 14 - August 6, 2010. An in-person interview is required for admission.
