The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Jacqueline Ulin Levey will be joining the St. Louis Hillel staff as Executive Director.
"Jackie represents the best and the brightest of young leadership in the St. Louis Jewish Community. We are very excited to have her in this position," said Alan Bornstein, President of the Hillel Board.
Jackie has both her undergraduate and law degree from Washington University in St. Louis. She has a long-standing commitment to St. Louis Hillel, initially as a student and later as a Board and Executive Committee member. Just last month she received The David N. and Roselin Grosberg Award from the Jewish Federation in recognition of her extraordinary contributions as a young Jewish leader.
We welcome Jackie to our staff and wish her the best in her new role!

Community Service Office Trip Information Session
(Including St. Louis Hillel Alternative Break) Thursday, Oct. 1, 5:00-6:00pm Danforth University Center, Room 233 Are you interested in going on an alternative break this year? This session will explore some of the options available for service trips at Washington University, including how to participate in existing trips and how to lead a trip of your own! St. Louis Hillel staff will be there to talk about our Spring Break trip to Uruguay and the Takkana Social Justice Fellowship trip with the American Jewish World Service. Everyone is welcome.

REGISTRATION FOR ASB 2010 is now open! Sign up today to have the spring break of a lifetime! Over the past four years, hundreds of young adults, ages 18-30, have chosen to forgo their typical vacations and travel with Jewish National Fund's Alternative Spring Break. The Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry is looking for volunteers on Friday, Oct. 9 for a one day service project. We are in need of volunteers to help clean and organize the food pantry and its contents.
