Come join St. Louisans in standing for Human Rights and Freedom. As Iran's President Ahmadinejad addresses the U.N. General Assembly, we'll gather to call for: An end to limitations on freedom of assembly, freedom of expression, and freedom of the press. An immediate end to human rights abuses, the release of demonstrators from prisons, and protection for minority communities. Full compliance and cooperation by Iran with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and Security Council resolutions. An end to incitement to genocide and support for terrorism. LIFE is a nine-month international leadership development program in Israel and India for 21-30 year old Israelis and Jewish people from around the world. DISCOVER JERUSALEM SEMESTER (http://www.jerusalemsemester.org) offers a uniquely exciting, accredited semester of study and experience in the heart of Jerusalem. The curriculum includes the study of classical Jewish texts (Bible, Talmud, etc) at the Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem and historical and cultural courses about Jerusalem at the Hadassah Academic College Jerusalem. All courses are taught in English.
THE RECONSTRUCTIONIST RABBINICAL COLLEGE is now accepting applications to the 5770/2009 RRC Institute for Prospective Rabbinical Students November 11-13.
