Council Fellows Take Action
CCWA youth group members continued their efforts to combat human trafficking in Ohio. Earlier this month, the group was on hand in the Short North to provide Gallery Hop patrons information on this local and global issue. This awareness project was part of their 2010 campaign to inform our community about human trafficking and engage local stakeholders in various initiatives.
Symposia Videos OnlineDid you know that you can now access all of CCWA's symposia lectures online? Our latest addition is Gayle Smith, Special Assistant to President Obama & Senior Director for the National Security Council, who spoke about the role of women in development and global security on May 21. WATCH NOW.
Members Look Back & Ahead Last week, CCWA members participated in our Annual Meeting of the Members. This year's format presented members the opportunity to also join the corresponding board meetings. Meeting highlights included a sneak preview of CCWA's soon-to-be-launched new website and a summary of this past year. If you would like a copy of the meeting handouts or minutes, please contact Rhonda Nicholas via EMAIL or at 614 229 4599 X 401.
