Virgo New Moon * Prepare Your HarvestThe New Moon of September 8th finds us enveloped in the grateful energy of Virgo. Remember, the Sun and Moon are ALWAYS in the same sign at the time of New Moon. As the 6th sign of the natural zodiac, Virgo speaks to readjustment through personal growth.
We may be tested by our own shortcomings, or through destiny. If and when the high tide of uncertainty flows into our lives, the lesson of Virgo is to resist passing judgment and to meet any test through purification of self. In other words, it's not about what the other person did; it's about how we handle it.
Virgo's quest for perfectionism quickly identifies what is 'wrong' with a given situation. But, the higher lesson of Virgo is to make it 'right' through rectification. This quest may involve taking a critical look at our own shortcomings and taking steps to repair our past. This necessary step is a pathway to reorient, or heal, the future.
Virgo also rules refinement; the issues and/or things that we must 'work through' in order to move ahead. The earth's semi-annual day of balance, the Autumnal Equinox is on September 22nd, and the Aries Full Moon beams in on the 23rd. Remember, Aries is an action oriented sign of courage and the Full Moon is a cycle of harvest. So, contemplate the changes that your heart is urging you to make during this dark time of the lunar cycle.
The equinox this year is graced by another Jupiter/Uranus conjunction in Pisces on the 18th. This is a magic making planetary combination occurs while the Sun is still in Virgo, in a sign that has a correlation to ceremonial magic. The planets say we now make our best magic through relationships and with others. Saturn in Libra demands we hold fast to our values, while Venus and Mars in Scorpio leave us with plenty to talk about.
Mercury stations direct on the 12th, followed by Pluto turning direct on the 13th; the curtains are drawn, and quickly the stage is set for a new act. With this New Moon, use the qualities of Mercury, the ruling planet of Virgo to name your harvest. Hold fast to your dreams, and soar on the wings of your guardian angels.

just stepped ashore in your life is a liberating exercise. Gradually you
