June 8th is a wonderfully significant day in the astrological world; today Uranus the planet of revolutionary change and Jupiter, the planet of expansion meet at 0° Aries.
This beginning degree of Aries is also referred to as the Cardinal point, and it's the same degree first day of spring. Just like the spring season, it's a dynamic point of activation and initiation.
I remain hopeful that the higher mission of Jupiter and Uranus is an evolution in social consciousness. Some channeled information available (on the 'net') says that we will soon be blessed with a compassionate and powerful new world government. That is a lovely and hopeful interpretation of this event; it kind of fits.
My dream is that it will be about utilization of new technologies; you know, new stuff like solar power, wind, and ancient oil eating microbes.
However, Aries is also about personal power and courage. Jupiter and Uranus retrograde back into Pisces throughout the end of this year, so there is a bit of space to get those proverbial ducks lined up; but make no mistake, the day is here and the time is now.

And, also consider that the joining of moon and Pluto also refers to ancestral issues; so, now is our time to deeply look within and heal those ugly hurting places that we came into this lifetime to resolve.

Many modern scholars, including Gregg Braden, are teaching that we are now in the closing days of a grand cycle called Kali Yuga. And, as surely as they have repeated many times before, we will emerge into a new hopeful cycle of Satya Yuga.
In Hindu philosophy, yuga is the name for an era within a cycle of four ages. The cycles of the yugas repeat like the seasons, and each cycle invokes gradual changes on the earth and within the consciousness of mankind.
One complete yuga cycles from a high Golden Age of enlightenment to a Dark Age, and back again. The resulting changes are said to be caused by the solar system's motion around another dynamic center.
As our sun moves through this orbit, it takes our entire solar system and earth closer to and then further from a point in space known as the grand central sun, which is the seat of the creative power and universal magnetism. Some consider this point to be the Galactic Center which is in the late degrees of Sagittarius, the center of our Milky Way.
The names of the four successive ages are: Satya Yuga, Treta Yuga, Dwapara Yuga, and Kali Yuga. Satya Yuga, the first and most positive age, is a time that connects us with spiritual knowledge, religion, and sacred ritual. Through these qualities good overcomes the evil. After the perfect Satya Yuga, an emerging social decline marks the Treta Yuga.
Further wasting brings about the Dwapara Yuga, and then comes the final and dark Kali Yuga, known as a time of wickedness, when man kills another man. Kali Yuga, also referred to as an age of demons and vices, is the last of the four stages that the world goes through as part of the cycle of yugas described in the Indian scriptures.
 Scholars do not universally agree on the timing within these ages, with declarations ranging from 4,000 years to 400,000. Many of the teachings regarding these ages, however, are documented by Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri, guru of Paramahansa Yogananda. Swami Yukteswar assigned imposingly long years to each cycle. He also noted that people do not want to admit to the turmoil of living in a time of Kali Yuga.
Considering the synchronicity of the Mayan calendars and 2012 predictions, there is much to reflect that we are indeed in the throes of a dark and killing age. And, as surely as they have repeated many times before, we will emerge into a new hopeful cycle of Satya Yuga. Amazingly, the Hindu scriptures DO provide a specific astrological signature of the opening for a new Satya age, which is: 'during Pushya Naksatra, when the Sun, Moon, and Jupiter are all in Cancer.' As I researched the Yugas, this last piece of information came as a delicious discovery. Handed down through ancient manuscripts, we actually have been given the timing for the beginning of our new Grand cycle.
