Mercury Retrograde * September 7 - 29
The highlight for this month's astrological picture is the 3 week time period when Mercury, moves into retrograde, or backward motion. Mercury does not really move backwards in it's orbit around the Sun, it just appears to do so from the earth.
These times are noted especially for breakdowns in mechanical effects, (including computers,) and also human communications. This time, Mercury retrogrades from early Libra, the sign of human relationships, and back into Virgo, a sign which speaks to refinement and perfection.
The question, therefore, of this Mercury retrograde is: what do you need to refine or review, in order to move forward in your relationships? This is a great opportunity to perfect that one thing which has been left undone.
Saturn * Uranus * Pluto
As we move into one more exact opposition of Saturn and Uranus on September 15th, the stars are calling out for us to be ever more aware of who's on first base, who's on second, and - who's got the ball! The first of our recent Saturn/Uranus oppositions took place on the US Presidential Election Day, November 4, 2008.This planetary opposition which speaks to the cycle of revolutionary change against old standards is again exact this month on September 15th. But, these two are not the only major league players who are in the game.
Later this year, the Cardinal (activating) square of Saturn in Libra and Pluto in Capricorn (exact on November 15th), more loose ends are sure to be nipped and trimmed. The arena of where this shearing effect of our two mighty Titans depends on your personal astrology, but be assured, you will feel their power. On a personal level, it also will move you into instant manifestations! Are you ready to have your thoughts activated in the material world?
In a manner similar to tidy Virgo, this is the month to tend to loose ends in your personal lives. Tighten up your finances if you have not already done so. If you are still in the stock market, perhaps it's a good time for a meeting with your trusted advisors. Even the most famous trapeze artists practice with a safety net.

Like a cauldron of light, the planets are heating up to bring us to a critical mass for the changes of 2012. The way of love illuminates the path, and it is your heart that will be your clearest guide.
The media has surely caught on to feeding negative predictions about the future. The History Channel endlessly plays stories about Armageddon and the end of the world. Every day and night the news stories reinforce a sense of fear and chaos. Remember, what you focus on is what you create. Yes, there are astrological challenges and changes, but maintain your attention on the positive change which is manifesting now.
