Mercury Retrograde * * * May 7 - 30
Entertainment or Horror Show?
Mercury retrograde, like beauty, depends upon the eyes of the beholder. I kind of like it - of course, I was born during a Mercury retrograde time. Maybe it just feels normal to see the rest of the world dealing with computers that don't work right or technological glitches.
This month, Mercury moves in apparant backward motion from the early degrees of Gemini and back to 22 degrees of Taurus. And, although Mercury returns into direct motion on the 20th, it does not enter into new territory until June 16, when it clears what is called the "shadow" of prevous advancement. Moving back into Taurus, this will be an especially good time to deal with possessions, money issues, home repairs, and other tangible goods. It is NOT the time to buy a new car, and, if possible, avoid signing contracts under the duress of this retrograde.
With the Sun, Saturn, and Pluto all in earth signs, now is your time to MANIFEST what you want. Bring the energy of your dreams into form on the earth plane.
Jupiter, Neptune, and Chiron are also moving into alignment in Aquarius, and will be exactly conjunct on May 27th. This combo brings healing LIGHT to the dark horses.
We have some good examples of planetary action in the news, including Kentucky Derby winner "Mine That Bird" who blasted to fame in the last seconds of the race. And, of course, another example of this planetary conjunction is Susan Boyle, the Idol singer who also, against all odds, delivered a home run for the underdogs.
