SAUDI ARABIA IMPRISONED, ABUSED AND DEPORTED CHRISTIANS
While many in the Middle East battle against the oppression of their governments, the resulting changes have done little to curtail the persecution of Christians. Recently, Saudi Arabia imprisoned and deported 35 Ethiopian Christians. Why? Because they were praying! SECRETARY OF STATE CLINTON SPEAKS ON RELIGIOUS FREEDOM
Increasing reports regarding the persecution of Christians in many countries around the globe should make most U.S. citizens very grateful that our nation's Founding Fathers guaranteed religious freedom in the U.S. Constitution. ARIZONA COURT DISMISSES PRAYER CHALLENGE
The Freedom from Religion Foundation (FFRF) was quick to file a suit against an Arizona Day of Prayer, but a Maricopa County Superior Court Judge dismissed the case, stating the "Plaintiffs have not alleged that they filed their claims in the capacity as taxpayers, nor had they shown a direct injury, pecuniary or otherwise.
