All Service Oil - AMSOIL |
|
Greetings!
It is officially spring! There are parts of the Upper Midwest that would probably disagree with me today, but the 2010-2011 winter season is done. Soon it will be time to "summerize" the snowmobiles, snowblowers, ice auger and any other "winter" equipment. Make sure you have plenty of grease, gasoline stabilizer, and fogging spray on hand. Proper storage now can make sure your equipment runs properly next season. The "summer" toys have started to appear on Minnesota roads - and of course, we have all the fluids you need for the summer equipment as well: lawn mowers, motorcycles, boats, atvs, etc. Let us know what you have, and we can help you with the proper recommendations.
We will be at the Donnie Smith Bike Show this weekend, March 26 & 27 at the St Paul Rivercentre. If you are planning to attend and need to pick up some oil, let us know by Friday. We can have your order ready to pick up.
Sincerely,
All Service Oil - AMSOIL AMSOIL Regency Silver Direct Jobbers Mike Ford, Sales Linda Ford, Sales & Accounting

Buyer Beware
The Petroleum Quality Institute of America issued another Consumer Alert for a passenger car motor oil currently on the market. The oil is Everclear 5W-30 Motor Oil.
PQIA's test results show this product clearly is not a 5W-30, and does not meet any recognized specifications for motor oil. The 100°C viscosity for this oil is nearly 30% below where it should be for a 5W-30, and the -30°C viscosity is 2.5 times the maximum allowed. In addition, this oil lacks the critical additives needed to meet original equipment manufacturer's requirements to protect automobiles currently on the road. Further, the product tested contains high levels of copper and silicon.
According to PQIA, the sample tested shows an oil that should not be used in an automobile engine as it could cause serious engine damage.
