All Service Oil - AMSOIL
June 2010All Service Oil - AMSOIL
Greetings!

Today is officially the "First day of Summer".  It has felt like summer in Minnesota for the past 3 months already.  The motorcycle season is off to a great start (except for all the rain we had in June).  The June rain caused us to cancel a 4-day trip to the Upper-Peninsula of Michigan.  Oh well, maybe next time.  Take a look at the list of our upcoming events below - stop by our booth to say "Hi" or schedule to pick up an order.  Until next time...

Sincerely,

By Tom Gelinas
Editorial Director, Fleet Equipment Magazine

Fleet managers have been successfully extending oil drain intervals for decades. Their success, in no small way, has been aided by continuing advances in technology-lubricants, filters and the expanded availability of oil analysis. Those who have taken advantage of these advanced technologies have been rewarded with substantial cost savings over the years-and can likely continue to do so.

Experts Predict Continued Growth For Synthetics

AMSOIL Director of Advertising
This article appeared in National Oil & Lube News, June 2010

And yet, if you look back at the historical record there has been a segment of the lube industry which has been quietly growing for a long time. We're speaking of the synthetic lubricants sector, and a new report by the Freedonia Group indicates that U.S. demand for synthetic motor oil is expected to rise more than 7 percent a year over the next three years. These robust numbers might be worth paying  attention to.
