Indoor Market at the Parish of the Epiphany

This Saturday, 9:30 - 1:30

November 20, 2010

Dear :

The last Winchester Farmers Market of the 2010 season will be a special indoor market this Saturday, November 20 at the Parish of the Epiphany, from 9:30 to 1:30. The indoor market will be a great opportunity to buy local foods and produce right before Thanksgiving as well as to get a start on holiday shopping. Free child care will be available for children under 7 years old, who can stay busy with toys, games, and crafts downstairs at the church while their parent shop at the market.

Most of the regular market farmers and vendors will be at the indoor market, as well as several artists from the Winchester Artists Network. See "This Week at the Market" below for a complete list of farmers, food vendors, and artists.

Many of you have enjoyed ready-made food from Bistro 5 at the market this season. You can now enjoy Bistro 5's delicious fare at home for your Thanksgiving meal. Fill out their order form and drop it off at their table at the indoor market this Saturday.

Congratulations to regular market vendor Piantedosi Baking Co. on the recent opening of their new shop on Thompson Street in Winchester!

In the coming weeks, we will be sending you our 2010 season survey to get your feedback and suggestions about the market. We look forward to hearing from you; your feedback will be especially valuable as we plan over the winter for the 2011 market season.

We are planning a series of winter lectures and workshops for people interested in learning more about topics such as composting, backyard chickens, organic gardening, and sustainable landscaping. Details will be announced in this newsletter.

Thank you for your support of the market in 2010. We look forward to seeing you at the indoor market this Saturday.

Sincerely,
Winchester Farmers Market Organizing Committee

Winchester Farmers Market Gifts for the Holiday Season

Think about buying some Winchester Farmers Market gift certificates to give as gifts this holiday season. Your gift certificate purchase will support the market and give the recipient a chance to enjoy the market in 2011.

We have prints and several other items available showing the market's fun veggie logo (the one at the top of this newsletter). These would make great gifts, and you can order them at any time.

Shopping bags, mugs, water bottles, aprons, mouse pads, and stickers are available at http://www.cafepress.com/winchfarmmarket
