| $1 Billion Software Piracy Milestone Reached |
 "From my research at IDC, I can report that software piracy is a global and enduring problem for the software industry," said John Gantz, senior vice president at IDC. "At the same time, it is also an opportunity if vendors can convert some of their pirating customers to paid customers. But identifying prospects for conversion from among the entire universe of software pirates has always been a problem. Now V.i. Labs has a technical solution to help companies identify such prospects and develop recovery strategies."
