As organizations migrate and create new applications using Microsoft .NET, developers, general counsel, and business owners are faced with the challenge of protecting their innovation and application integrity. Applications developed using .NET are especially vulnerable to reverse engineering and tampering, and new software protection strategies are critical to protecting revenue and reputation.

V.i. Labs' CodeArmor® Software Protection and Intelligence solutions easily detect, gather intelligence, and protect against the threat of tampering, code theft, and piracy independent of where the applications are distributed.

Please join us for this technical webinar and learn:
  • The limits of existing .NET protection approaches like obfuscation, strong name, and code encryption
  • How real companies are protecting IP and innovation in .NET applications
  • How CodeArmor Software Protection hardens .NET applications against threats
  • What's new in the latest release of CodeArmor

From Our Blog - Software Pirates in Our Backyard!
Pirates in our backyardYou may recall our post this summer about a legitimate business in the UK that was using pirated Autodesk software. Well, the Worcester (Mass.) Business Journal recently reported on a local company that paid the BSA "$80,000 to settle claims that the company was using bootleg copies of Microsoft and Symantec software."

The surprising (disappointing?) thing is that the company, Communication Technology Services, is a technology company that should know better than to use bootleg copies of software.

Thanks for reading this month's newsletter. We value our interactions with you and can't wait to see you in person or online at one of our upcoming events.

Regards,
Michael Goff
