www.yourtake.org features SCAN®, an online learning tool which utilizes a simple problem-solving approach (Situation Appraisal). Groups of students work collaboratively in examining complex issues from different points of view. Over 120 lessons exist with special emphasis on social studies, health, character education, and life skills. Use TEFFRIEND code to activate a free subscription (valid until June 30, 2010).
Over 90% of teachers surveyed cited the following SCAN benefits:

TEF secures major new grant from the
Gordon and Llura Gund Foundation
Thanks to the generosity of many donors, we were able to meet the terms of a substantial grant provided by the Gordon and Llura Gund Foundation. This exciting and generous grant will help us further develop, expand, and market our classroom site and tool: www.yourtake.org. As a result, many more young people will learn effective ways to solve real problems and make tough decisions. By equipping students with these critical 21st century skills, we know the best is yet to come!
Welcome to Patricia Schwarber
 Pat brings a wealth of experience in client relationships and consulting and is helping us in the area of funding and opportunity development. She spent 28 years with Kepner-Tregoe, helping a large variety of organizations resolve significant issues using rational process. Pat has also worked with a variety of schools and districts helping them use process.
