From The Garden
As we enter September, our gardens are still a little behind due to the cooler temperatures earlier this summer. There is some good news about this that we can use to our advantage: the length of time we have to harvest and preserve our vegetable gardens is extended. This works really well for us as our son Joel is getting married the beginning of September and we have little time for gardening this week! We are seeing more problems with mildew as we get into the cooler nights; Serenade is working well to control it. Our beans are almost ready, the zucchinis are taking over as usual...just in time for the Zucchini Festival that is coming up on the 23rd - 25th!
Happy gardening, and we hope to see you at the Garden Center soon!
