Shonnard's Nursery, Florist, & Landscape

June 2010
Blue Skies Ahead - We Promise!
Greetings!

We admit it, May was wet.  However, it's not too late to continue planting your summer color and veggies.  This is the perfect time to do lawn treatments because of the wet weather.  If you're concerned about summer growth there are a few tricks that can help keep your plants warmer, including:
  • Wrap your tomato cages in remay cloth which allows air and moisture but raises the temperature by 4-6 degrees
  • Add red mulch film around base of your plants to warm soil and radiate heat up to your plant
When you're here, come take a look at our new fish.  They just arrived and are a perfect way to make your water feature the relaxing habitat you've always dreamed of.
