We're thinking about expanding our services and growing our store...
We have some SERIOUS plans for y'all to make us even MORE of the BESTest, COOLerest, and FUNest kids consignment store in NOVA :-) Not only do we have the largest selection of gently used kids clothing, as well as a great selection of new and stylish premiere clothes, not to mention over 3000+ bows in every color imaginable. But we're negotiating with our landlord to revamp and expand the front atrium with something SUPER COOL FOR MOMS AND KIDS!!!
We may soon have opportunities for you to join us!
FIRST:
We have a couple of dedicated 150 square feet "rooms" that will be available on a first come, first serve basis for $175/month in 3 month chunks. For example, a 12 foot by 12 foot room, but the shapes/sizes are negotiable. We'll give priority to parent/child-focused businesses like: massage therapist (oooo), tutoring service (aaaaa), financial/tax planning (ooooh)! Options vary from office to warehousing.
Two of the three options above have possible solutions with our store's expansion! Contact us for more information.
SECOND:
We are considering a "Flex Space" room to be rented by the use. Don't need full time space? Just "pay by the drink" in our upcoming Community Room!
- Need a MOMS group meeting place besides your living room where the visiting kids feel like Category 6 hurricanes in your house?
- Have talents in skin-care, etiquette training, parenting classes?
- Want to start a kid- or mom-friendly venture part time?
The possibilities are endless so book now for prime times...
THIRD:
We need some seasonal staff to work for store credit, like over at Dani's Duds :-) We're particularly looking for parents to work on evenings and Saturdays. The hours are flexible, the pay reasonable, and the atmosphere fun! (Although Ma has outlawed chili for Pa the night before he works at the store...) Don't have the cash to buy Spring items? Get away from the kids, come spend a spell with us, and work for those capri things! (I'm a dad of 2 boys. "Capri" is not in my vocab :-) You can't bring the kids with you, though... We always need help sortin' and hangin' clothes, and you get "first dibs" at the latest stuff! Drop us an email with your availability, two dozen chocolate chip cookies (ok, that's if Brian was making the decisions, which he thankfully is not!), and any experiences you've had. It's critical to know what your favorite M&M color is, however. No pressure or anything...
FOURTH:
Think we should carry something? Do something? Sing something? Now's a great time to give us feedback on what we're doing right and what y'all want in your local Ma and Pa kids' store. Our two most common requests are Maternity and Women's consignment. We're not quite ready for those yet! :-) So how are we doing overall and what would make your Life easier? Send 'em in to us!

PS - We leave you with one hint to what's coming for those of you who found us in South Riding... King Arthur's wizard can't be all work. Wizards ALWAYS come back stronger when they've been away for a while...
