Brix Alright!  Votes are in :-)  As expected, there was no one time for everybody, so I'm going to try somethin' different for the Fall Session...  Dual tracks :-) :-)

I'll repeat each theme twice, once on Sat 3-4 and again two days later on Mon 5-6.  Come either time for 6 weeks (w/ a break first week in Nov).

Check out below for the details (slightly different than proposed in my last Newsletter based on feedback from y'all):
  • 6 week sessions of Brix Club at LLaL
  • Choose 1 of 2 different tracks based on your schedule...
    • Track 1 = Sat 3-4pm     Oct 10/17/24, Nov 7/14/21
    • Track 2 = Mon 5-6pm    Oct 12/19/26, Nov 9/16/23
  • Over 30,000 LEGO(R) bricks with different, structured themes each week
  • $60/kid for 6 wks, sibling discount $10.  Compare to my son Ethan's Gymboree sessions @ $80/4weeks/45mins each!!!
  • If you miss a day, just come another Sun/Mon!  The theme is repeated each week (e.g. Oct 10th and 12th have same theme).
  • We're going to make life-sized "Brix Furniture" one week
  • No food allowed (too complex with allergies)
  • Recommended for 5+ yrs old.

Cans for Cash!

Bring in any non-perishable food items for $1 off your purchase through Halloween  :-)  We've had a request from Western Fairfax Christian Ministries for food items sorely needed at their food pantry, so we're gonna:
  • Give you $1 off any purchase if you bring in a can/box/bag of non-perishable food
  • Match the donations (for every item y'all bring in, we'll double it when we donate to WFCM)
Yeah, a buck isn't really a huge savings for you, but until we're just a weeeeee bit bigger and financially solvent that's gonna have to do!!!  This is really about the givin' than the gettin' going into the Thanksgiving holiday season... :-)
Volunteers Needed - Fall Fun Fest
Moonbounce

Char and I donating two moon bounces, a popcorn machine, a sno cone machine, a cotton candy machine, and more LEGO(R) bricks than you care to imagine for the Fall Fun Fest on Oct 17th, as well as our time setting up, manning, and tearing down the above amenities so your family can enjoy some healthy, free fun-time :-)

This takes away from our ability to have our boys enjoy the festivities and the two of us can't be in all places, so if anyone can swing a shift at any station we'd much appreciate it.  We can't offer cash or coupons (we're spending lots of money on the event already) but we could offer you an extra punch on your Loyalty Card if you volunteer for a spell!  We'll come up with a signup sheet at the store if you want to help :-)
