THANK YOU
RACE PARKING VOLUNTEERS
A special thank you all to all of our Race Parking Volunteers for your assistance and support over the July 4th weekend as we have completed another round of Race Parking and raised over $15,200 for our local community! Added to our totals from February--that's a grand total for this year of approximately $54,000. THANK YOU!
As always thanks to Target which donates 100% of what was collected in the lot to support our 38 partner agencies and 61 community programs.
We hope we can count on you again for
Speedweeks 2011-Mark your calendars now for February 12-20th! |

It takes the entire community working together to recover from a natural or man-made disaster.
In preparation for hurricane season, United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties' Volunteer Center (UWVFCVC) is conducting another disaster orientation Wednesday, July 28th at 4pm, at the United Way office.
The purpose of the training exercise is to walk-through the set up of a volunteer reception center and walk-through the steps of registering unaffiliated volunteers who would come to Volusia County offering help following a disaster. This drill is largely intended to allow disaster volunteers to practice the process and will also identify areas where UWVFCVC can enhance procedures.
