THANK YOU!

As always thanks to Target which donates 100% of what was collected in the lot to support our 38 partner agencies and 61 community programs.

We hope we can count on you again for

It takes the entire community working together to recover from a natural or man-made disaster.

In preparation for hurricane season, United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties' Volunteer Center  (UWVFCVC) is conducting another disaster orientation Wednesday, July 28th at 4pm, at the United Way office.

The purpose of the training exercise is to walk-through the set up of a volunteer reception center and walk-through the steps of registering unaffiliated volunteers who would come to Volusia County offering help following a disaster. This drill is largely intended to allow disaster volunteers to practice the process and will also identify areas where UWVFCVC can enhance procedures.
